Phillip Rivers

Phillip rivers a plus for the chargers or a negative. To the team he nothing but both negative and a positive. He does things that good but that no other QB could not do. Like throwing tight spirals a okay long bomb. But his faults go on like cant scramble, overthrows his targets. Takes bad snappers, very uneasy sitting in the pocket. If he could settled down in the pocket he might be able to get a good pass of every time. All the good QBs have good o-line last year chargers had a good o-line this year it is slowly showing that the line is not as strong. Phillip rivers has thrown 22 ints for a past year that is a lot he could be gaining on Brett Favre record. Personally I think they should give the starting job off to Charlie Whitehurst he is a second year quarterback and the style that the chargers play with is more like the style that the played with in college.

“U.S. helps Pakistan guard its weapons”
in this article i read that Over the past six years, the Bush administration has spend almost $100 millions on highly classified program to help Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf secure his country’s nuclear weapons, according to current and former senior administration officials. But with the future of that country’s leadership in doubt, debate is intensifying about whether Washington has done enough to help protect the warheads and laboratories, and whether Pakistan's reluctance to reveal critical details about its arsenal has undercut the effectiveness of the continuing security effort. The aid, buried in secret portions of the federal budget, paid for the training of Pakistani personnel in the United States and constructing of a nuclear security training center in Pakistan, a facility that U.S. officials is nowhere near completion, even though it was supposed to be in operation this year.
I agree, I think its good help other countries.
I also agree because other enemy countries could take over the place and the weapons they have if we don’t help.
In the other hand I don’t agree because we are training people from Pakistan and the could betray us.
The most interesting fact I think its that the did bring some people from Pakistan and are training here in the united states.

Global-warming report stresses ‘urgent’ action
In the article, Global-Warming report stresses ‘urgent’ action, I learned more of Global-warming and its SIGNIFICANT IMPACT on the planet. The AFFECT of the global climate change appears more urgent than ever with a 4.6 feet average sea level rise expected with just the carbon dioxide in the air. People in Africa will experience water shortages and in Asia risk of flooding in major cities. Plant and animal species are also at risk with an expected 70% of the species extinct. The conference held called the US and China the most polluting countries but not to blame anybody but to ILLUSTRATE how these two countries could be lead in the fight against global climate change. The conference also set some expectation dates to cut who much gas we CONSUME and not have a very high effect. Now global leaders will take place in a conference to the PREVIOUS Kyoto protocol which ends in 2012.
I think that this article has really shown the new FOCUS on the global stage. Now that we have IDENTIFIED how long we have to change hopefully those in the ROLE of power will make POSITIVE changes and start relying on ALTERNATIVE forms of energy. The SEQUENCE of events portrayed here will hopefully produce changes other than that of the Eire prophecy that their seems to be no escape from.
The most interesting fact is how much effect we can have on the world, that we can destroy the world if we are left unchecked is remarkable.

♥ San Diego Union Tribune
♥ Drug Dealer Shot By Border Patrol Agents Charged
♥ This morning I read some text from the newspaper on an article about a drug dealer being shot by the border patrol. It happened in El Paso, Texas where an admitted Mexican drug dealer was shot by two of United States Border Patrol agents. The drug dealer’s name is Osvaldo Aldrete Davila and he was arrested yesterday at an international port of entry in El Paso. Although the agents are getting charged for shooting him, Osvaldo is being charged for a variety of drug-related charges. If he is convicted, he could face up to 40 years in prison and a $20 million fine. But the fact of the border patrol agents shooting him is still a major subject and it has caused tension between lawmakers and others. But the agents are still denying it, and it is not the first time that they have shot Osvaldo. The same two agents were convicted last year of shooting Osvaldo and lying about it.
♥ I think that a criminal should be punished but not by being shot at unless they are harming others. I think that some of the United States border patrol has got to be racist and would probably love to shoot at people of other races whenever they had the opportunity to.
♥ One interesting fact is that Osvaldo was given immunity for the first smuggling attempt to testify against the agents.

26 gang members arrested in sweep.
In the article that I read today was base in Los Angeles, There were more than two dozen members of an international gang that goes by the name “MS-13” arrested. Authorities stated that they were arrested because of a multistate sweep, being that “MS-13” is the most organized street gang in the nation. Gang member’s and associates were held in custody on federal and or state charges. This gang has a reputation of being ruthless and not caring about the bad IMPACT they have on the people that they hurt, for example in 2004 in Honduras the gang was convicted of taking a bus and spraying men, women and children which led them all 28 to be dead. I would think that these gang members would have some type of sympathy for the families that have lost there loved ones but apparently they don’t, They don’t seem to see all that they have AFFECTED and for the most part it isn't good on there side they are doing nothing, all but killing each other. They CONSUME of light up matches and torched there enemies before killing them. There have been many PREAIOUS cases about street gang’s but this gang is the most dangerous in the nation. For the most part FBI and federals, local agencies are on the case for more to dig up and find.

A dose of ecstasy
Turkish people have a religion where they dancing somewhat similar to ballet to show there love for go. The religious dance is called Dervish, and are widely known for their whirling dervishes that challenges the limitations to the physical movement of the body. The tasks for these dancers focus on their strength for balance. They use a wooden board to practice, by slowly revolving on top of the board. The most important technique for the dancers to do is, maintain the right foot raised while the left foot is kept on the ground, somewhat similar in ballet. Training begins when the dancers are at a young age usually at age 9. through out their developing years they must learn the strategy in keeping their balance. Dervish dancers feel a need to do whatever it takes to show sufficiently their expression towards the love they hold for god. While the performance the dancers derive into a abstraction, some what like a meditation from the express of god. The meditation is what keeps them from getting dizzy, and the music impacts the energy taking place within the dancers. This Turkish religion believe that love is what allows us to get closer to god. And that if people perceive more into the music and dance they will feel the love. I am a real fan of music and dance, this kind of reminds me of how the Indians use dances to communicate with their god. I think it is interesting and motivating, gives young kids accept god in their life not only by going to church but by dancing as well.

Union Tribune: Murder Defendant was grilled in ’83 death.
I have read a story about a man who lives in Ramona, his name is Mr. Turner. He is accused of strangling his second wife and burying her body in their back yard. He was also questioned by police in 1983 after his first wife died of a gunshot to the head. The death of his first wife was ruled a suicide a month later. Turner pleaded not guilty to murder charges on Wednesday after authorities found skeletal remains of Toby Turner in his back yard. Records show that he said he found his wife laying down in the garage with a revolver near her thigh. Turner then said she was really depressed because she had just lost her job. In October 2005, 24 years into his second marriage Turner reported to police that his wife was missing. It wasn’t until his arrest last week that he told them he had killed her in their San Diego Country Estates home after she told him she was leaving him. He told deputies he moved her remains to a deeper grave when he put his houses up for sale this year. They broke this case because Turner’s step son saw her mother being murdered. It think that this is a horrible thing to do. How can he just live life happy knowing that he had killed someone. I mean if she did not want to be with him then just let it go he did not have to kill her. I think that he probably did kill his first wife and they need to look into that a little more.

Today in the union tribune I read that in October last month a a male white shark was spotted in the beach of torrent pines. An electric tag near the base of the dorsal fin beamed signals to a satellite, enabling researchers at the Hopkins marine station near Monterey, nearly 350 miles away, to track its progress. The juvenile shark is the latest of the white sharks to be tagged and tracked off California as part of an ongoing study that’s given researchers bad look at these notorious predators
I think that they should leave the shark alone and stop strapping them with beams and stuff on their head, no wonder there always mad at us.
I feel that they should remove all of those satellite things immediately.
I disagree with everything their doing.

=The great white shark=
The sharks in Malibu are now swimming South towards San Diego. Scientist have put an electronic tag on some sharks. They did this to monitor their routs in a year. Some sharks are now being seen off the Ocean Side beach in San Diego. California is one of three places were large population of these predators are found in large groups. They have found through the tag how sharks spend their lives. In their early years they spend their lives in Southern California and Baja, were they feed on fish. Then they migrate up to north and south of San Francisco in their adult lives were they feed on prey on seals and sea lions. Some even leave CA for thousands of miles to Hawaii and deep Baja.
All this migrating of sharks is putting surfers and other people in danger.
The sharks I read about, I think can be useful for other scientific research.
If sharks keep on getting close to shore then they should start closing the beaches for the period that the sharks are close to it for the safety of people.
The white shark can grow up to 20 feet and can live up to 25 years.

♫The article I read this morning was about the new freeway that is going to open this morning. The freeway is crossed over the Otay river valley as it runs through Otay mesa, Chula vista, and Bonita. The tollway is expected to ease South County congestion, particularly on interstate 805. The new freeway is called South Bay expressway. The South Bay expressway is the first tollway in San Diego County. Caltrans, under a novel made a deal sealed in 1991. Caltrans asked a private company to build and manage a nearly 10 mile segment of state Route 125 without a cent of state tax payer money. To cover its cost and eventually earn a profit, the company will charge a range from 75 cents to $3.75 depending on the length of the trip and how the toll is paid.

♫Reflection:
♫My reflection about the article I read this morning is that I think this article about opening a new freeway is that it’s a good idea. I think it is a good idea because there is a lot of people that live in the parts where the freeways is located at. The only thing I don’t really agree with is that you have to pay.

♫Fact:
♫An interesting fact that I read in the article is that the company will charge a toll for at least 35 years.

The article I read today was about a store in chula vista and how it is the first Fresh & Easy store in the county. The store is from Britian. It opened up on H street in Chula Vista. The aim for this store is to provide low cost, good quality food, in convention format. The size of this store is like a tradional market, with about 10,000 feet of space. There is alot of food and it is arranged good. Some of the food they sell in this store is already prepared. All you have to do is go wherever your going and warm it up. This sounds like a good idea because there arent any stores like this and people are going to be able to get food and just go to school or work and heat it up whenever they want. This is going to mkae everything easier for people in chula vista on their way to work or school. They have exactly 4,000 items in stock right now for people to buy, but im sure that they will be coming up with more once the store gets really busy.

I think this is a good idea for kids and adults for a fast lunch before work or school or if your just not wanting to spend alot of money on groceries.

Interesting fact- this store has 10,000 feet of walking space.

The TEXT I was reading had some interesting information. The article ILLUSTRATED a new idea that was taken into action just last week. The British grocery company has moved abroad and entered the US market. It already has stores in Los Angeles and Las Vegas under the name Fresh & Easy. Just this past Friday the company opened another store in Chula Vista on H street. The store’s opening was much anticipated and so far the sales have been great. The store has been providing ALTERNATIVES for fast foods. The store prepares fresh healthy foods with no added fats or trans fats that are ready to eat such as sandwiches and sushi but they also sell prepared meal that can be taken home and CONSUMED after being microwaved. The CEO of the company stated that PREVIOUSLY all supermarkets that offered healthy foods were really expensive but that these new stores are offering healthy foods that are inexpensive. He also ESTIMATES that in the 10 years to follow there will be an increase of $128 billion and that increase will be due to new customers.
