Cahrgers can do much better

This Sunday the chargers played the 1-5 Vikings. The chargers had a difficult time stopping the Vikings premier rookie running back Adrian Peterson. This young running back rushed for 296. This has broken the previous record by Jamal Lewis with the Baltimore ravens of 295 yards. He is now up for the rookie of the year this year. The chargers running back only rushed fore 37 yards. The difference was the effort of the teams. The Minnesota Vikings want it more. The chargers seemed to be the leader in this game with the 109 yard field goal return by Antoine Carmatio. I think that the chargers got caught up on the fact that the Vikings ratings were 1-5.

“Myanmar junta wants to expel U.N official”YANGON, Myanmar began his seconf visit in recent weeks. By meeting yeaterday with the top U.N diplomat in the country. Whom the rigime just said it wanted to expel. Myanmar’s military leaders gave foreign and U.N. diplomats a note Friday. That said they would continue U.N. resident cooridnater charles petries assignment in the country. The military has said 10 peaple were killed. In the crackdowns on the demestrations. I think it was tragedy that that happned. Also that we need more diplmats exploring that region. And the should not expel that guy. The most IMPortant fact is that 10 peeaple were killed.

Scientists Look for Defects that lead to disease.
Scientist are using hundreds of genetically altered mice. The mice would lack normal immune system reactions to viruses. Viruses like influenza and cytomegalovirus. Also bacterial such as salmonella and listeria. The researchers are trying to determine which genetics defects allow disease-causing mutations to occur. The goal here is to provide new science, and make it public as soon as possible so the entire research community can benefit. Scientist Ulevitch said, “I wouldn’t want lo leave anyone with the impression that we think that we are going to cure something”. Researchers just want to advance on these type of research.
I agree very much with this type of study, it will help with our medical solutions.
This also makes me want to learn about this and more types of studies.
This also helped me and informed me about the research that scientist are going thru.
The main and only hospital that is involved in this research is Scripps. (fact)

Fugitive Nebraska teacher found with boy in Baja.

A former teacher and a 13 year old student fled to the Mexico border to get away of the accusations of having a love affair. The 13 year old boy gave their location away by calling his parents in Nebraska and asking for money. Police investigated this situation which led to a shopping mall in Mexicali. Kelsey Peterson and Fernando Rodriguez were taken into custody. They were caught crossing the border at San Ysidro on Tuesday. Kelsey Peterson was charged with kidnapping, child abuse and contributing to the deliquency of a minor in Nebraska. She also faces the charge of transporting a minor across state lines or foreign border for sexual activity.

I think the teacher that took this child had to be very stupid. I don't know whats wrong with teachers messing with young students. They've all got to have some type of problem that they all deal with.

I was reading this article in the newspaper that I thought was very funny. The article was about the term toilet to tap. Some people seem to not mind one bit using the term to refer to the new proposal to drink recycled sewage water. Yet some of the officials in charge of the new project seem irritated at the idea they tend to think that people will instantly think that the toilet is connected to their water tap supplies. Yet they seem to give very little credit to the citizen’s intelligence. It is obvious that when referring to the water to tap term one will always understand that there is a basic cleansing process involved. I thought the article to be very funny. The author encourages the reader to use the term more in order to let others know what the project is really about. Using other terms, according to the author, may seem that the true meaning is trying to be hidden. I believe that the term matches perfectly with the project. I approve that such a term be used to refer to the “indirect potable reuse”. Funny right?

Union Tribune: Hate crime.
Today I have read a short article on a black woman. In Charleston W. Va. Hundreds of people marched for one cause. To stop hate crimes and to put a harsher punishment on it. Yesterday they urged prosecutors to add hate crime charges against six white people charged in the beating, torture and sexual assault of a 20 year old black woman. Authorities say that three men and woman held Megan Williams captive for days in a trailer. They sexually assaulted her, they beat her and forced her to eat human and animal feces. A lot of people were there to support her. A legal adviser said that hate crimes are going out of control in America. All of the six people face kidnapping and sexual assault charges. The Kidnapping alone carries a life sentence of life. In this case it will be difficult to charge it as a hate crime because the victim had a social relationship with on of the suspects for at least several months before this happened. The organizers hope the rally will help raise money for William’s medical care and for her future. This article is so sad to me. I can’t believe that there are people so cruel and heartless that could do something like this. This is a despicable behavior. In my opinion this is a hate crime. I think that those six people deserve life in prison. Who are they to decide who is better and whether someone is worth anything.

Car Crash Claims Wounded Iraq Veteran's Third Child;

Summary;
This morning's blog was based on the text I read in the Union Tribune. A wounded Iraq veteran and his wife have lost a third child from injuries the boy suffered in a car accident on the way to visit his father in the hospital.The couple's youngest children, 2-year-old Logan and 5-year-old Ashley, died at the scene. Tyler Johnson suffered massive head injuries. Lisa Johnson was driving at the speed limit, traffic investigators have said, but they blamed the accident on a combination of high speed, drowsiness and powerful winds. The three children were in the back seat. Logan was in a child seat, but the other two children were not wearing seatbelts.

personal reflection; It's sad to read about these tragic stories but it's life. There's no way of escaping your fate.

Today I read about The 36-year-old husband and father lives northeast of Ramona at Oak Tree Ranch, a manufactured-home community off Black Canyon Road. He got up at 6 a.m. took his 5-year-old son Trevor to his parents house in Escondido and went to work. Smothers did what he says he would never suggest to anyone. I decided to stay. Because he no longer works as a firefighter Smothers didn't have any protective fire gear. The fire soon reached the large oaks that give the neighborhood its name. All 50 houses on the east side of the community's central road were ablaze.

Risky Trip leaves her fighting for her life
An illegal mother from Mexico who has been living here with her husband and kids for ten years. Goes thru a hard making decision. Her father recently died in Mexico City and the women Maria Guadalupe Beltran mother of four all under the age of 8, had to decide whether to go back to Mexico to visit her father for her last goodbye or to stay here. Maria consisted in convincing her husband to let her go, but her husband told her that she needed to derive a good decision, since it is easier to cross into Mexico, but extremely difficult to cross back into the United States. Maria and her husband came to the United States to make money, so that they could build there house in Mexico, and then later once it’s finished move back with their kids. There main goal her in the US was to construct a better life for their family. Felipe Mercado Maria’s husband said that her plans to cross to Mexico were to go and take her two kids a boy of 8 moths who is still breast feeding and her little girl of 5 yrs old, and her brother as well would go along with the three. Since both of her kids are US Citizen they would be easily crossed in car by another family member. Then Maria and her brother would cross back led by a coyote who had a strategy to come into the US. Maris had spent two weeks in Mexico, and was to return on Oct 21 when the wild fires had started. She and her brother would cross the Tecate border and walk a 7 hour long trail. Her husband was aware that she would be on her way on Sunday but had not heard any news from her. Mercado had called the number that the coyote had gave him. A lady had told him that she knew nothing only that there were fires in the hills but that they would still be able to make it. Mercado waited a significant amount of time estimating how long she would make it in. but then as her heard nothing from his wife and brother in law called a agency that helps the border in occasions like these. Later he was called in to identify some bodies that where found and where staying at the UCSD hospital, he recognized the first person who was his brother in law. But the second person was unrecognized, until he saw a white toenail and indicated that it was his wife. Both his brother in law and the wife are in critical conditions at UCSD, but Mercado knows that his wife is strong and will make it threw.
