S. Taylor dead

Sean Taylor played for the Washington, Redskins. He was shot in his house the police say that it was a robbery. Taylors background shows that he has a criminal record. His teammates say since he has had his kid that he has not been in any trouble with the league or outside of the league. Sean Taylor was one of the faces that was praised at the Redskins facility. Taylor lead the NFC in 5 interceptions this year he was on a career high. Taylors girlfriend stayed under the covers as they shot Taylor in the leg. Minutes after his girlfriend called the cops for medical help. He died from a artery in his leg that was hit by a bullet. As he bleed to death he became unresponsive after a few minutes he was shot. There was not to much that the doctors good do they could not stop the bleeding. I feel that this case more to do than a robbery maybe has to do with his looming past.

♥ San Diego Union Tribune
♥ “Three Immigrants From Boat Detained”
♥ This morning I am basing my blog on TEXT about three immigrants that were detained from a boat. The boat CONSISTed of three undocumented immigrants and they were taken into custody after coming ashore near the end of Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach. The one who spotted them at first was a local resident who was walking along the beach when he noticed five people getting off a boat. The ISSUE is starting talk about what APPROPRIATE actions are going to be taken to prevent this from happening. Although only three people were caught in the act, investigators are still looking for the others. The Deputies who responded to the call sent the three immigrants down to the Border patrol station. In the past six months, a great number of unIDENTIFIED boats suspected of being used to smuggle immigrants have been turning up along the county’s coastline.
♥ Reflection; I think that there should not be any reason why people need to sneak into our country. The only reason why people feel that this is the only way to cross the border is because it’s difficult to follow the rules. If our government was not so racist, this country would be a lot better but sadly, it isn’t. People have no choice but to cross illegally because if they follow the rules, it will take them many years and it is not even guaranteed.
♥ Interesting fact; The most recent situation similar to this was earlier this month when a 20-foot boat was abandoned north of Del Mar’s Dog Beach believed to have been used to smuggle immigrants.

Today in the union tribune I read that David caterino found a grave yard with his metal detector isolated weedy field. When his detector grows louder his assistant skims the dirt. SDSU archeologists believe that there is a 19th century cemetery underneath this ranch in Ramona. There are no grave markers, so he and his assistant search for more clues in the ground. Since 2002, he and a team from SDSU have recorded over 140 grave sites and cemeteries, about half were unrecorded that predate 1961.
I think that there are a lot of abandon cemetery in southern California near the alpine area and they should be searched for because some of them like in this article can date back a long time.
I feel that the SDSU team should keep looking because they have found already about 140 grave sites that no one knows about.
There is one interesting fact that is there is an abandon gravesite in mission hills pioneer park. It was established in the 1870s and is the site of the final resting place of numerous san Diego pioneers.

- The San Diego Union Tribune
- The week in Mexico
- The article that I read today was about SUMMARIZING the week in Mexico. I read that Mexico city’s cathedral, a STRUCTURE that is 400 years old, reopened Saturday. SEQUENCING a week after it shut its doors down. This was because it was INVOLVED in a protest. A mob that was angry that the church bells tolled during a democratic revolution party rally burst into cathedral Nov. 18, tearing down railings and overturning pews. It will CONSIST of 30 police patrolling the area. And also 30 cameras. This CRITERIA was made from Mexico City Police Chief Joel Ortega.
- I think that this is a very interesting article. I didn’t even know that it had shut down. The things people can do when their angry.
- the interesting thing that I learned is what I wrote about that the cathedral shut down.

Today I read a story about graffiti, the city is saying that taggers are tagging in harder places to reach. The city is paying lots of money so they can fix the graffiti but when they fix it they continue to do graffiti. The taggers are tagging in bridges, walls, and buildings. They keep on tagging everyday and that cost the city a lot of money.

♫ The article I read about this morning was about how San Diego is tied with Los Angeles in drought plagued cities in the country. San Diego is tied with LA as the most drought plagued places in America. Looking at the 100 biggest metro areas and their historic norm for wet and dry conditions. Both the county’s are 27.3 percent over normal for dryness. The wettest place is Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s percent is 31.6 percent below normal for dryness. New Orleans was the only metro ranked at a normal percentage. After San Diego and LA Ventura County is next coming in at 126.9 of dryness.

♫Reflection:]
♫My Reflection for this article comes to being rather awkward. I didn’t know that San Diego or any other county’s would get ranked in which are the driest and wettest county’s in the country.

♫Fact:]
♫An important fact that I read about in this article was that San Diego and Los Angeles are the highest in the driest county’s in the country.

Capturing Life.

A man named Keith York is the programing director at KPBS in San Diego's public-broadcasting station. Everyday he is asked to watch peoples films. One person in particular caught his attention. It was a woman from La Jolla who was one of the station's donors. Keith accepted to watch her movie. The film was an hour-long look at what happens in families when a child admits to being gay. Keith was amazed with the video. Susan Polis Schutz, the woman who filmed it said that it was the first film she had made. Susan was actually a great writer. She also has a family filled with successful artists. She was inspired by her son who graduated from Princeton, made millions of dollars, participated in state education board in Colorado, and is now running for Congress there. He is also Gay. Susan and her husband created cards for hallmark. Jared is worth 160 million dollars. A year ago, after accomplishing all these things he VOiCED out that he is gay. Everyone was shocked. Even though his family took it hard to accept it, they knew he was a great ROLE model. That is when the film took place. She made a sort of like documentry that shows how life is when you have a gay child i guess. Susan wanted to find more people that had a gay child in the family. She found members of Jewish, Mormon, Hindu, Catholic. Asian, Black, Hispanic, and White. Lawyers, teachers, cowboys, factory workers. Were examples to show the iMPACT that any family can have a gay child. The film also talks about different ways that families take the coming out. Some families take homosexuality as serious as rape and murder. Others will disown their children. Susan explains that the main FOCUS of the film is to show that there is nothing to ever be ashamed of.

I think that it is never APPROPRiATE to disown your child because they choose to live a different way that their parents do. No one can ever change the image of the mother, father, and child.

=Grave Suites found=
After looking for just ordinary change on the flood David Caterino found graves instead. Now he and a team from SDSU are now searching for more lost graves. In one particular issue the team found a grave. But this was no ordinary grave like the previous ones. They found one on someone's property and the owners didn’t even know it was there. Since 2002 the team has found more than 140 graves here in San Diego. Most of were not in any official records. Here are some cemeteries that they have found Indian Cemeteries, Small private Cemeteries, Mega-Cemeteries, and Medium Sized Cemeteries. That’s just a few with more to come.
This is good for people that like history or the past.
This is also good if people are trying to relocate their family members.
The members of this team I think are doing an important job for the county.
The project list is part of the states historic preservation.

Union Tribune: U.S. roadblock shootings in Iraq kill at least 5, including a child.
Today I have read an article on the war in Iraq and its effects. On Tuesday morning our troops fired on vehicles trying to drive thru roadblocks. They killed at least five people including a child. The shooting took place while a driver was trying to pick up workers, the military fired warning shots which killed three woman and a police. The driver of the bus was driving in a restricted lane. One of the guys in the bus had to be hospitalized and said that he did not know if the bus had been hit with guns or with bombs. He also said that when the bus came to a stop the U.S troops came out to help. On Monday a similar thing happened in Baghdad. American troops shot at a car speeding, those were warning signs and he did not slow down so they had to shoot. They unfortunately killed both men and a kid that was in there was hospitalized but later died form his injuries. On Sunday some gunmen killed a reporters family because he was critical of the Iraqi government. The reporter said that the gunman wanted to use his family as a message to other reporters or to anyone who opposes the policies of the Iraqi government. I think that this is very bad. I am glad our troops are there but this is not our war to fight, they need to find a way to be civil with each other. I think that it is wrong you know, if a military gives you a warning sign and you do not listen obviously you want to die or you want something bad to happen to you

“Wind-stoked Flames Hit Malibu Again”
A fast-moving wild fire pushed by Santa Ana winds destroyed dozens of homes and forced thousands of residents to evacuate yesterday as flames raced trough the canyons and mountains of Malibu for the second time in little more that a month. Forty-nine homes and two outbuildings were destroyed, 27 homes structures were damaged, and 10,000 to 14,000 people were evacuated said Los Angeles County Fire Chief P. Michael Freeman. :”The fire activity has subsided considerably,” Freeman said. “I fully expect that containment number will more than double by tomorrow.” fifteen helicopters and 15 airplanes, including a retardant-dropping DC-10 jumbo jet, attacked from the air as 1,700 firefighters battle fire on the ground. Six fire-fighters suffered minor injuries.
I think involving the airplanes it’s a good idea because if they don’t stop it fast more people its going to suffer.
In my criteria bringing the helicopters its also a good idea.
Bringing the a good percent of fire-fighters also will help.
The most interesting fact I think is that I consent the fires where over every where but I guess there are not.

In Menden. Nevada a women who worked as a clerk at a Bank of America pled guilty to gambling a customers money form the bank. Janet Turner 48, admitted that she has a gambling addiction and that she spent $15,000 from a 78 year old customer’s bank account. When taken to court at Douglas County District, the judge of the case Dave Gamble dismissed the charge. The judge stated that it was a correct for the dismissal of the case, since Turner did the right thing as seeking help and gave in reparations for what she had done. He also states that Turner sets a good example of good conduct, of whom he can refer to as goodwill. Turner made apologizes to the bank and the customer, admitting that she had a gamble addiction and accepting that what she had done was wrong. Turner attended Gambler Anonyms and now realizes what bad gambling did to her and how it destroyed her life. I think that it’s good that Turner realized her addiction and apologized. But I think the judge should of made her pay with her own money the money that she used to gamble. Gambling can be really bad and make you go from everything to nothing. Sometimes people who gamble are not aware that they are beginning to become addicted and state that there is no problem when there really is. That’s why I choose to write about this article, because addiction is something that is really serious and could be very complicated to overcome, at times it may also make you do thing that you wouldn’t normally do. For all those people that have an addict of some sort I think that they should fond help before things get even worse.
