Pakistan has a riot

Veterans day, Pakistan citizens spoke out against there president Prevez Musharraf. The citizens started a riot against him stating that they do not want another dictator. The President did not realizes that the U.S. is serious about not having another dictator because if so then America does not want another terriost attack on the U.S. The U.S. congress state that they want to put someone who does not hate America that much so they can initially trade with Iran for there oil. The issue with that is the president of Iran will not give up his power. The evidence that proves that the citizens hate there new president is that they have had two riots in two weeks same days. So this is scaring America and the American troops. To me or to summarize all of this is that it will be tough to get over all of this.

♥ cnn.com; suspect on the loose after deputy shot
♥ This morning I read an article from cnn.com on a very dangerous issue: murder. On Wednesday, November 7, 2007 a prisoner to was on his way to appear in court for a robbery charge shot the deputy escourting him. To summarize what actually happened: the prisoner and the deputy were in a van when the prisoner overpowered the officer and shot him, escaping afterwards. There is no evidence if he had outside help but for now, that is what they are saying to the public. Luckilly the officer is still alive but he is in critical condition. The prisioner is on the run and local schools and several public streets are closed until they find him.
♥ personal reflection; I think it must be embarassing to have a prisoner overpower a deputy who is supposed to be prepared for these type of situations. But- I hope that they find this prisoner on the run because people in the area are no longer safe.
♥ interesting fact; The prisoner's name is Mazza and he is caucasion, 5 feet & 9inches tall, weighs about 200 pds., and has dark hair with blue eye.

An imprisoned Drug Lord's moment of Truth.

Fransisco Javier Arellano Felix who is the former boss of the Tijuana drug cartel. Fransisco Felix wrote an apology letter to everyone on both sides of the border and to the court. Enough EViDENCE was given to prove that Fransisco was guilty of many of the charges he faced. The iSSUE was that he could not stop his business. To SUMMARiZE the rest, fransisco is facing life in prison and might have a chance to change everything.

The article I read about today was about serving those who once served. The Pearl Harbor survivors waved and greeted smiled, as did a former POW's who paraded by, along with paralyzed vets in wheel-chairs. The all black cavalry unit Buffalo Soldiers and veterans of the submarine service, whose motto is "PRiDe RUNS DEEP." The N.A.V.Y. and Marine Corps sent their bands, politicians preened, mothers of the fallen turned out and color gaurds commemorating conflicts dating to the American Revolution. they SUMMARIZED all of the veterans past and what they had done for the country. They had alot of EVIDENCE of what the war was like in their head and still able to share it with people. There just happy they served for the war and didnt really make it an ISSUE. There was nothing negative there yesterday, nothing but POSITIVE. I think it had a really sad EFFECT on people seeing how old these people were but they were so nice. If i was there, i know i would've had to act in a way APPROPRIATE manner.

interesting fact: There was more then 1000 volunteers.

Today in the union tribune I read that last months firestorms made the biggest loss of historic properties in county history. About 16 farmhouses, adobe structures, and commercial buildings, most were built in the late 19th century. Milford Wayne Donaldson, former san Diego architect went to where the fires had struck as part of an assessment of damage. He said “I think fire fighters did an extraordinary job – they knew what buildings to protect”. the biggest loss that was had was an adobe house located in bear valley that dated back to about the early 1870s. it was owned by a water company in san Diego. Some of the san Pasqual valley properties had been protected by the san Diego water company for decades and has been listed potentially historic.
I think that the buildings that were lost in the fire was just to much to handle for san Diego because the money that was put in to it was too much and they were old to so they had got to have been more money than it cost to build them.
I think that kid that lit the fires should go to prison forever.
I feel all the families that lost their home in the fires hate that kid to death.

I was reading this article in the Sunday ISSUE of the newspaper that caught my eye. The article was about college bound students or student that have barely started college and their rooms. EVIDENCE shows that some parents are really glad that with their child gone to live to college they can renovate the room their kids used to occupy. Yet, other parents cannot even bear to think of changing their child's room. They instead keep the room exactly how it was when their children were living there in case their kids ever decide to come back. Some researchers have been ANALYZING the whole picture of both the view of the parent and of the child to try to determine if it affect the child in any way. From these analysis they have DERIVED the conclusion that it is easier on both the parents and their children if the parents VOICE their ideas to their children before they make an ESTIMATE on a remodeling deal.

- The San Diego Union Tribune
- An imprisoned drug lords moment of truth
- The article that I read today was about a really big ISSUE. It was about the AFO leader Francisco Javier Arellano Felix. He was sentenced to life in prison on September after pleading guilty to the EVIDENCE submitted by the U.S. District Court in San Diego. Arellano Felix submitted a brief letter to the court, in a spare 10 sentences read aloud by his lawyer, he expressed remorse and asked for forgiveness, from his family and from “all of those people, on both sides of the border, who I have affected by my wrongful decisions and criminal conduct.” forgiveness from the latter will be a tall order. Mexico's murderous drug cartels are tearing that country apart. The cartels commonplace murders of past years are being surpassed by new levels of barbarity. One of the latest of these ghastly horrors is beheading. He asked if there was anything he could do to atone for the immense suffering and death he imposed for so many years. The court said that he could help them turn in all of the people responsible for law enforcement deaths and journalists deaths.
- I think that this was a really interesting article. To SUMMARIZE it Javier has to work with U.S. officials to atone his criminal conducts. I don’t think that this is a good idea because he is going to turn in the Tijuana cartel and then the cartel from the south is going to take over. This will be worse for the U.S. because they will kill more people and smuggle more drugs.
- One interesting thing that I learned is that there are more than 20 million cocaine users in the U.S.

“’WINGS’ AND, NOW, A PRAYER”
A retired U.S. ambassador to several African countries, stepped gingerly around the ruin of his 3,200 square-foot house overlooking the san Pasqual valley and declared the rebuilding effort ahead as his next “adventure”. His architect, Norm Applebaum, also was looking to the future, even thought the ashes represented years of work on the home. The award-winning house was completed in 1990 and had been featured in numerous magazines and on two national TV shows. Every victim of last month’s fires has similar thoughts, to rebuild or not; to duplicate the lost structure or do something quite different; to work with in the constraints of insurance proceeds or to invest more.
I agree, they could take something out of losing a house and rebuilding their houses bigger.
I agree, they should rebuild their house because they don’t have somewhere to stay.
In the other hand I don’t agree, because they money they are taking to make their house bigger its from the taxes we are paying.
The most interesting fact for me its that years to rebuild the houses because of the ashes.

=PLANTS=
Yes you have probably known that there is a nerd for every subject in the book. But in this occasion these nerds are plant nerds. Today there will be a plant convention here in San Diego. And they will show new discovered plants as well as new man made plant genes. These nerds like to get their hands on the “newest and greatest hits in the plant world.” They will also explain what are the special thing about these new plants. Like one that is bright green with a pink buds that end up blooming white. That's gust one of many new plants that will be shown in the convention.
Plants are good for us there for we should appreciate them.
The convention would be a good place to go and see the plants I would want in my garden.
My thought was also that all of us should help the environment by using plants because of the global warming issue.
These plants will also be on sale after they inspect them and do some more research.

♫ The article I summarized today was about an unhappy history that repeated. A married couple had just reconstructed their home after the cedar fire burned it down. The sad part about it was that with the wildfire that just happened the Miller families home got burned down again. Mr. and Mrs. Miller are thinking about just building their house underground now. The Millers family seem to be the only family in the San Diego county that lost their home in the cedar fire and in the wildfires that just happened. Their daughter was shocked after hearing that their home was burned down again. In 2003the miller family had a chance to pack things and get out of their home. But these time their neighbor just drove up and shouted get out so they left in such a hurry that even Mrs. Miller out on some mismatched shoes.

♫Reflection:
♫ I think that this is a very sad story. Its very weird the fact that the Millers home burned down twice. I hope that everything goes good for them and that their home is safe now once they rebuilt it if they do.

♫Fact:
♫ An important fact that I issued about today was that the Millers lived in their home for 30 years.

Disabled man not lovin’it after snub at McDonalds
The first article that I read I learned of a quite ironical outcome to a disabled man who was refused service at a McDonalds. To SUMMARIZE, the man went into the McDonalds for an egg McMuffin with his seeing eye dog and was refused service. Because his condition allows him to see shapes but not actual detail it made seem as if he could see and that the dog was just a pet that he wanted in. After he got refused service he went to his place of employment were he advocates for rights of the disabled located next door to the McDonalds and takes some action bringing up the ISSUE of inadequate service to the disabled. HE got an attorney and got his VOICE heard by the owner who apologized. When he returns to IDENTIFY the name of the person who refused him, by then the new a shift had taken place and they also refused to him service showing EVIDNCE that nothing had changed science he called the owner who apologized. The third time they went in the owner of the McDonalds went to personally apologize and to show that they are trying to make a SIGNIFIGANCE in aiding the disabled by working with their neighbors to get their staff better trained to serve disabled people.
This is an interesting article because of its irony but it also has good resolve so overall this is a good article.
Tracing Root of a fire takes time
In the second article I learned several things about fires. When a fire is put out immediately after they investigate to finds its origin but when there are multiple fires it takes time to investigate them all. Locating its origin helpful because fighting fires is expensive and if they find that a company or an individual is responsible they take money from them. How they find the origin is also quite interesting, most fires start in a burning in a v shape and when the winds caring the flame the chars on some things is shown on one side showing how it traveled. They use all this knowledge to track down its origin and all to know who is responsible.
This article is very informative and I like how this article explains how tracking fires is important. How they find the origin is very interesting using forensics to find it like a smoking gun trees and wind direction point to the person or thing responsible.
The most interesting fact is how why they find the origin.

China confirms that toy beads are toxic
Another toy has been added to the contamination list. The new toy identified to be toys beads. In Beijing, China the toys have been recalled form United States and Australia indicating that the toy is constructed with a chemical substance that can harmfully effect kids. The influence from the toxicant toys was derived after a sequence of children became sick and later where verified to be caused by a toxic substance. These toys are referred to as Aqua Dots, so among many other nations for kids. When placed in water dots attach together making a shape as any animal with colorful designs, which many kids love. But the bad affect form these small colorful toys is that they contain 4-butanedoil a harmful chemical. when this harmful chemical is consumed, it is transformed into GHS a banned drug also known as a day rape drug. Causing children who consume these Aqua Dots to get seizures, drowsiness, coma & death. Union Tribune: LT's a real realist.
Today I have read a short article on my favorite running back LaDainian Tomlinson. This article is talking about how no one has been able to run 20,000 yards in their career. They are saying that if LT is going for it he is going to need to pick up his pace. LaDainian Tomlinson so far has done 10,000 yard and he said that he is going to be done with pro football no later than 2011. he also said that and that he would not linger simply to surpass Emmitt Smith as the National Football League's all-time leading rusher. LT said that he never set out to get 10,000 yard and he has never set out to surpass Emmitt’s record of 18,350 yards. He said that it has never been his goal to do that people just assume that its what he is going for. “If the opportunity comes than it would be huge but I am not going to keep playing just to break a record. Tomlinson also said that he can only take so much, he is not a big guy and he will only play until he cant anymore. They are making a lot of excuses for why Tomlinson isn’t doing as good as last year. He just says that it is no ones fault and that its just the way things go. I think that he is a great running back and I think that he was succeeded so much and he will keep succeeding.
