An abortion protester in Missouri for going to the mall and showing large graphics pictures of aborted fetuses. A man named Robert Roethlisberger Jr. was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was released from jail Monday on a 1,200 dollar bond. Police reported to the scene when a caller had informed them about seeing the horrific images displayed on a truck. An officer told Roethlisberger the banners were being displayed in an area full of shoppers and children. He was asked to display less graphical images but he refused so they arrested him on the spot. Police impounded the truck but it has been released from impound. Roethlisberger is a driver for Operation Rescue, an anti-abortion group.
I think this guy shouldn’t have displayed the images unless he was with his group because he was alone and if he were with his group members were with him he wouldn’t have got arrested because they would have took down the images.
I feel this guy got what he deserved because he could have prevented himself from getting arrested and losing 1,200 dollars by just changing a picture.

♥ cnn news
♥ teacher charged in teddy bear case
♥ summary; This morning’s blog is based on the text from cnn.com. The article was about a British teacher who was being charged for insulting religion. It happened in Sudan where the teacher allowed her student to name a teddy bear “Muhammad.” She was arrested under the country's Islamic Sharia law after parents of some of her students complained to police. Her spokesperson says that was an honest mistake. The teacher said in that she never meant to offend anyone and that she never intended to insult their religion.
♥ reflection; I think this was another racist act. I honestly do not think the lady meant any harm to the religion. I’m sure that the people trying to charge her with this ridiculous crime is racist and is exaggerating the truth.
♥ interesting fact; On the teacher’s MySpace it says that she is a teacher and enjoys her career, also that she loves to travel and hoped to have a great experience in Sudan.

♫ The article I read about this morning was about a teacher in British that was charged of offending a religion. The teacher by the name of Gillian Gibbons was charged because she found that it was okay to let her class name their teddy bear Mohammed. She broke a law that they have in British which was the law relating to insulting religion and inciting hatred. The teacher is 54 years old. She is being held by the police in the capitol Khartoum. The teacher says that she simply just told her class to come up with a name with the classes teddy bear. It was actually a school project for the class. She was a teacher for seven years old which I believe are 2nd graders. Her court date is on Thursday they are trying to give her a decision of getting 40 lashes or six months in jail or a fine.

♫Reflection;]
♫My opinion on this article is that its really dumb to have a law like that. I didn’t know that there was laws like that anywhere in the world I thought that all the other countries have the right to chose their own religion like here in the United States. That actually a pretty crazy law to have that’s my reflection towards this article.

♫Fact;]
♫An important fact or interest that I read in this article was that she got charged for naming the teddy bear that but it really was the children who named the teddy bear.

"Annapolis"
What I read was that after watching President Bush earnestly deliver his benediction to the Annapolis peace conference, a caustic English friend likened the scene to one of the durbars held periodically to bolster the British Empire's rule in India. As with the long-ago gatherings of maharajahs, wrote my friend, "so the U.S. has convened its vassals from around the world to witness mostly in silence a grand event, the import of which is closed to them." For starters, the document commits the parties to begin negotiations on a peace treaty "resolving all outstanding issues, including all core issues without exception." The text unfortunately doesn't specify what these unmentionables are, but negotiators understand that it does mean the two deal-breakers: Jerusalem and the right of return of Palestinian refugees. The prayers of Israelis that they wouldn't have to talk about Jerusalem, and of Palestinians that they wouldn't have to discuss the right of return, have not been answered.
I agree because if they don’t claim peace there could be some problems.
I also agree because they can solve this problem with words.
I agree because its in the USA.
The most interesting fact I think it its that we also have problems within our own country.

Volunteers Join Search For Missing Bethany Woman.
A women by the name of Bethany Okla, she was last seen on Friday at home, before she left and told her mother that she was just going out with a friend. It was to be said that she went to go see a man that was probably the father of her unborn child at Eldon Lyon Park. After that nobody has seen her around she didn’t take her check book or didn’t use her debit card so to know where she has been nobody knows. Her mother didn’t report her missing though, it was to be said that someone else was the one to report her missing. She also takes blood thinner which is prescription that helps her with clotting problems and she is not carrying it with her.
I personally think that maybe on the mothers part I was some what wrong for her not to even call her daughter or ask about her. She doesn’t seem to be taking much action if for one she wasn’t the one calling to find out about why her daughter had not been home. Maybe she is just out with the man she thinks is the father of her unborn baby and again you never know. People which are searching for her must have some type of hope that they are going to find her.

Rising health costs prompt short-sighted money moves
In the past years health insurance for many people have been a rage at raising costs for families. Higher health costs have made a huge impact on many families money spending. As an alternative to the higher costs, many have perceived by eliminating the visits to doctors unless they are really necessary. A large percentage of families are having difficulties with non-health expenses, such as bills due to the high health prices. It also has became a factor of less money available for basic necessities at home. Premiums for employee- sponsored health insurance have been verified to increase at an average of 6.1 in 2007. Some employers have derived a decision of increasing the amount the employees pay by 2008. significantly, if prices for health insurances are increased, the affect will be on people who work to support there family. The workers of the family will have stress upon the necessities of their families. I believe that health costs should not be raised, because the only thing it will do is construct more poverty in families are more higher bills to pay. It is important for people to stay healthy but how can they if the health costs increase. Really all it does is cause more harm then help.

Union Tribune: Leader of anti-crime group attacked.
Today I have read an article on Alberto Capella’s attack. Alberto Capella is a man how has spoken out boldly about the corruption in Baja California. Yesterday, was a different day for him, he was covered in tears and could barely speak after surviving a terrible attack in his house by some armed men. Despite many gunshots being fired at his house the police did not immediately come to help even though he lives just a block away form the police station. This man has asked citizens to speak out on the crimes they have seen and to march for peace. Alberto Capella said he was alone at about 2:00 am and the neighbors dogs woke him up. He looked outside to see what the commotion was about and saw a man dressed in black trying to force himself into his house. There were at least twenty men around his house. He thought they were there to take him away and return him in pieces. He then got a gun and started shooting at the men, it lasted for about 20 minutes. Then he called the new attorney. The authorities are now investigating why the police took so long to respond to his call. I think that maybe someone in the police department wanted to kill him or something and that is why they did not respond fast to his call. I mean it is an officer you are talking about so you would think that they would be there sooner. Also I would think that he would have some bodyguards in his house because he is a well known man and he fights crimes.

I was reading a very interesting story in the CNN website. The story was about a British teacher teaching in Sudan that was arrested due to the fact that she had her class of seven year olds choose a name for a teddy bear and the children chose to name the bear Mohammed. After hearing that the teddy bear was named after one of their prophets the children’s parents were really mad at the incident and reported her to the police. She was arrested promptly after she was reported to the police. She is now under Sudanese authorities awaiting a sentence. The crime she committed can be paid either trough a fine, 6 months in jail or 40 lashes. But she will have to pay a sentence before being released. The British embassy is trying to do everything it can in order to help the woman. It is a sad position to be in since she was a very respected teacher in Liverpool, England, where she left her position as deputy headmaster in a primary school to go and teach in Sudan. But now, she lost her teaching credibility.

Granny's Horn Brings Charge.

A elderly woman who is a great big fan of the Broncos is charged with Disorderly Conduct. Her husband CONSTRUCTED a device that CONSiSTS of many horns. The horns are tied onto a STRUCTURE with wheels that you would use to help carry heavy boxes. Everytime the Broncos scored a touchdown, the grandma would honk those horns. Obviously the horns were an iSSUE to the neighbors and the police got iNV0LVED. The grandma is to go to court, and could face up to 6 months in prison and a 500 dollar fee. The grandma does not even care because she thinks it is all worth it to be a Bronco fan. The grandma says that the horns are not even that loud. Lawnmowers are louder than those horns.
I think that maybe there were people who were watching the game and got irritated with the horns because they were not bronco fans. Of course the horns may get annoying, but they should all know that its going to stop when the game is over and she's not honking it every 4 minutes. This charge is dumb and i think that the Broncos will hear about her going to jail, if she does go, and bail her out just for being a fan.

The story I read today took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was about German war records, they opened the doors to the public and holocaust survivors they have been waiting to get for 60 years.

In the first article, Musharraf steps down as army chief, I learned that all thing come to an end even eight years of military rule. When Musharraf began his emergency rule he placed himself as Army chief and now he ends his 46 years of servitude to nations army and eight years of military rule. Not only has he steeped down but he has also chosen his successor as chief, Gen. Ashfaq Kiyani who is said to be the same as Musharraf, In which Musharraf thinks he will lead with a strong pro western feel. Many are still protesting the elections so that they may question the legitamcy of the election and hopefully hold a new one.
In the second article, China captures Lunar image, I learned of how China’s EMPHISIS keeps progressing upwards. In 2003 china sent its first man to orbit earth and now they are progressing even further by setting into the moon orbit a camera that could take pictures of the crevices of the moon. China once got quite a lot of attention when it destroyed a old satellite with surface based missal and now it is doing so again with a drive to reach that beyond.
In the third article, Man killed in cell phone explosion, I read about LG’s responsibility in the death of a man. The battery exploded in the front chest pocket and he died in his office. LG says that such accidents are rare.
In the fourth article, Console makers busted by green peace, I learned of a ranking system put up by Greenpeace. The ranking system ESTIMAES how fast a company can remove dangerous chemicals such as flame retardant from their product and how they were able to take back their products that were now off the market. They first only ranked TV but now that they have included consoles some companies like Microsoft have dropped down the list and Nintendo got a zero out of ten putting it at the end of the list. Nintendo claims that they had no idea of the ranking. Apple on the other hand has moved up to number 11 on the list of responsible companies.
The first article was the most impressive and hopefully this means that the VOICE of the people can not be taken away without CONSENT. In the second article its about time that China has a camera in the sky. In the fourth article I think that what Greenpeace is doing will lead to some POSITIVE results.
The most interesting fact that I read in all three articles is how easily he gave up power proving how SIGNIFICANT a term is even to the most notorious.
