Source;; Union Tribune
Article;; Anti-Gang Measures Considered
Summary;; This morning I chose to read an article about what measures are being taken to prevent gang related issues. It talked about how a year after the murder f Oceanside police Officer Dan Bessant, the city council is trying to find ways to prvent this type of situation from happening ever again. They have estimated about 1,000 Oceanside's youth is in a dozen gangs. They have already decided to open satellite police station, establish counseling for youth involved with gangs, and and developing a job placement for youth.
Reflection;; I hope that that type of situation does not ever happen again either. I think it's sad that kids think it's cool to murder someone. I hope that the measures they are taking do work to prevent gang related problems in our community.

Kids better mentally in foster care than orphanage.
many psychologists have said that being raised in a orphanage is always capable of not having you be so bright, the problem with that they say Is that it is not possible to show that its true; they are hopping to find a study for it soon. Little by little they are ANALYZING how and what the child does. They do know that if when a child is raised in a foster home they have a greater chance of having a high IQ because, if you are in foster care you have the opportunity of having a family and having them show you little by little which in an orphanage you don’t have much of a choice; you are forced as they say. Studies for It is something that they want to show and prove because they do want to let people who are planning to adopted that they will be a much better idea that if you are planning to adopted a child it is much more better if you adopted a child at an early age so later in life the wont be AFFECTED. Many American’s have adopted children from China, Guatemala and Russia, with an estimate of 20,679 children being adopted. In the 1990’s they had found about 136 children being abandoned out in the streets when they where barley born.
The doing all of the research is something that I believe is a good idea because from what I have seen a lot of the foster children are already messed up but yet they do try to MAINTAIN high hopes, if its because of there mothers or because they where left with out a real family, whatever the case may be I seen foster children that my mom use to take care of and they where challenged. Sometimes not having families is a big IMPACTED for the child because they see other children and they are wishing it was them
I chose to write about this topic because I am very much into children I love them and to me it is very much of a big ISSUE; to know that they sometimes are in the most hardest position maybe because after awhile the foster parent doesn’t want them anymore, to me its something difficult and I just feel bad for what the children are going threw.

Salmonella fears spur recall of Mexican basil.

5,500 pounds of basil grown in Mexico and sold to the United States may be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella is a disease that can cause diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps within 72 hours of consumption. Salmonella is usually food contaminated with animal feces. I dont know what basil is, but it is sold to resturaunts and other food services. No illnesses have been reported thankfully. But there were cases where they found traces of salmonella in it.

I dont know what basil is but i think its weird how they sold all of it to the united states.

Today I read a story about a lady who had been sent to a jail for a month with 20 male inmates. She was caught stealing money and clothes from a house. when she was in jail she was forced to trade food for sex and the prison guards had knew about it. They were saying that it shouldn't be no problem because she was a prostitute and had been in jail twice before, only because she was a prostitute they said that she deserved that horrible treatment. Every level of authority had failed her to not do anything.

US is debating whether they should build a new arsenal to it’s town. At this point our country consists of approximately 10,000 nuclear weapons. A nuclear weapon is powerful that it’s impact could destroy half of a big city. Reliable Replacement Warhead has suggested if we should either better construct our nuclear that have been made since 1960s or simplify the stock? US has the second most nukes in their country, first being Russia with 15,000 nuclear weapons. Upgrading our nuclear weapons is verified to bring a safer environment, more security and reliability. But can the making of more power renew nuclear weapons be a positive factor for US. In a way it might because if we where all to go to war we at least will have something to defeat the other country against us. But the bad concept is if all the countries begin to upgrade their nuclear weapons it can cause great danger for all of us leaving us both with no land, and lots of destroyed places. What if we destroy half of our earth with all the nukes we send out to one another. So I believe that maybe all countries should reduce the amount of nuclear weapons, because it will be unfair if one country has a greater percentage of nukes than another so therefore we should all stop. We all live on this earth together and getting involved to perceive the dangers of earth instead of fighting would be much better, but that will never happen. So I guess we’ll never really have peace between us all.

Today the article I read that hand sanitizer males through security in one airport, then its confiscated at another. Screening lines back up only two of six lanes are open. And there's the occasional all-too-intimate pat down. Those complaints and other frustrations make the nations airport security agency about as popular as the IRS. Indeed, only the federal emergency management agency, still suffering from its mishandling of hurricane Katrina, ranks below the transportation security administration among the least liked federal agencies, according to a new associated press ipsos poll. The TSA tied with the perennially unpopular tax collectors in a favorability ranking of a dozen executive branch agencies.

• In the article, Ministry for the homeless challenged by the city, I learned about a lawsuit that is being brought up against a church and the AFFECT on the homeless. To SIMPLIFY the ISSUE the Pacific Beach Methodist Church that has been serving food to the homeless and has had this ROLE for the past 14 years and now they may have to shutdown as they face a lawsuit that could high IMPACT on the church. The lawsuit IDENTIFIES the homeless that are attracted to the Wednesday mass as disruptive and the church is not APPROPRIATE or zoned to feed the homeless. The church has been INVOLVED this type of lawsuit before and it feels that this new lawsuit is just as the PREVIOUS one, with a high FOCUS on closing the church, they face the same opposition after nothing has changed. The article closed off with a quotation from a woman who is currently living in her car with her 11/2 year old child which actually gave the article a VOICE in which it could CONSTRUCT and DERIVE from it a more POSTIVE STRUCTURE with a more positive end. This is because it helps to FACTOR in that these are actually people who do not all fit into the CATEGORY of the homeless do nothing that some tend to PERCIVE, there are some that just reached a temporary low and others who are work their hardest to go against what is or has happened to them, we can not INTERPRET them all as one. The woman said that she dose not like the people down town and this is her best ALTERNATIVE. Another early in the article was quoted as saying that they treat them her like if he were family and non judgmental. Just reading these two quotes helped to ILLUSTRATE and to EMPHASIZE that this church is doing good, and that we should EXAMINE and ANALYZE what exactly are we bringing to trial. The church appeared to be completely in the dark something that should not have happened. They will continue to serve even through this time of high opposition.
• In this article I learned that even the noble things are subject to the indiscriminate eye of the law. This is sad because we should treat things that help people with a little more gratitude.
• The most interesting fact that I learned is that even in times of tribulation the church is always working as if it were unopposed.

Today the TEXT I read POSITIVE, but its ISSUE was that hand sanitizer manages through security in one airport, then at a PREVIOUS one its confiscated. The CONCEPT was Screening lines back up only two of six lanes are open. And CONSISTS occasional all-too-intimate pat down. Those complaints where IDENTIFIED as other frustrations make the nations airport security agency about was STRATGIZED as popular as the IRS. Indeed, only the federal emergency management agency, still the PLOT was from its mishandling of hurricane Katrina, ranks below the transportation security administration among the least liked federal agencies, according to a new associated press ipsos poll. On the POSITIVE side, The ALTERNITIVE was that the TSA tied with the perennially unpopular tax collectors in a favorability ranking of a dozen executive branch agencies.
My reflections was SUMMERIZED by me thinking of the most weird way of using EVIDENCE to make the story as real as it seems. The first CONCEPTI used was EVLUATED the facts with the lies. The VOICE telling the story was telling the truth but I wanted to see if this is just to make the front page. My CONSENT to prove this guy was lying. But the truth IMPACTED me instead. The CONTEXT was telling the truth word for word. So I just FOCUSEDon getting all the words for the word challenge
