I read that people around the world are helping other kids around the world to go school. For instance one girl named Rachel s. Rosenfeld got sick which made her have to take a whole year off from school. It was a painful intestinal ailment. This made her think about other kids who couldn’t go to school like kids in Cambodia so she raised money from her sickbed. She raised 57 thousand dollars and she even has a school named after her in Cambodia. There are 4 other seniors from high school that are doing things that are helping people around them and around the world. Another kid named Taylor Francis has been speaking around the country in case of global warming. Another girl is raising money to help save Africans from malaria. To do this she is raising money to help buy mosquito nets to save them fom the infectious disease.

NO ON OFFSHORE DRILLING

Have you been enjoying the prices of gas in the past years? Did you know that
Even if the offshore drilling ban is lifted it won’t lower the prices of gas? Lifting the ban
On offshore drilling is just a money grab for the oil companies who are already making
Record breaking profits. I think that the United States should see past this energy crisis
And stop resorting to the easiest way out. Offshore drilling makes no difference whether
We drill now or in 50 years. Our economy is already weak offshore. Drilling will just
Cost the United States more money, and that is not a good idea for the economy. Oil
Drilling is a super huge risk for oil and our beautiful oceans are not capable of that. Off
Shore drilling will make global warming an even bigger issue than it even is.

I think that the ban on offshore drilling is promoted by oil companies. Oil
Companies right now are making bank. The United States burns about 25 percent of the
World’s oil according to Google and about 3 percent of the world’s reserves are here in
The United States. That means if all the oil that is planned to be drilled, magically
Appeared on the market it would make no difference on prices at the gas pump and will
Not make a difference in the future because the majority of our oil would be imported.
This means that if we drill for oil, it will make no difference to the price of gas. It’ll
Probably have an effect by 2030 but the change would be so small no one will ever notice
It.

After I read Wikipedia, I believe that the United States should not lift the ban on
Offshore drilling because my first reason would be because of oil spills. This information
From Wikipedia is that the Exxon Valdez oil spill occurred in Prince William Sound,
(I don’t know what that is) Alaska, on March 24, 1989. It is considered one of the most
Devastating man made environmental disasters ever to occur at sea. The vessel spilled 10
Million U.S. gallons of crude oil into the sea and covered about 11,000 square miles of
Sea. Oil spills happen when people make mistakes or are careless and cause an oil tanker
To leak oil into the ocean. There are a few more ways an oil spill can occur. Birds die
From oil spills if their feathers are covered in oil. The bird will then be poisoned because
It will try to clean itself. Animals may die because they get hypothermia, causing their
Body temperature to be really low. They may die from really low body temperature. Oil
May also cause the death of an animal by entering the animal’s lungs or liver. The animal
Will then be poisoned by the oil. Oil also can kill an animal by blinding it.

Burning fossil fuels like oil causes global warming, which causes stronger
Hurricanes, which will threaten the very offshore drilling rigs being proposed, which will
Contribute to even more global warming. Global warming is a very big deal right now
Because it is finally taking affect. Fossil fuels are composed almost entirely of carbon
They cause global warming when they are burned, such as we burn coal for electricity or
Oil in the form of gasoline and diesel fuel for transportation energy. When we burn those
Things they release carbon back into the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide, which
Is called greenhouse gas because CO2 and other kinds of global warming gases from
These products act like a blanket over the earth’s atmosphere and they trap more heat
Than would otherwise be trapped in the atmosphere.

My conclusion would be not to lift the ban on offshore drilling. As I just
Explained my concerns, you should take into perspective and consideration on what
You’ve just read. I think that the United States is just looking for the easiest way out of
The energy crisis by lifting the ban on offshore drilling. Renewable energy is available
Now, so it's time to walk away from fossil fuels and toward a clean energy for the future.

Biologists now group organisms into categories that represent lines of evolutionary descent, or phylogeny, not just physical similarities.
The genes of many organisms show important similarities at the molecular level. Similarities in DNA can be used to help determine classification and evolutionary relationships.
Cladistic analysis identifies and considers only those characteristics of organisms that are evolutionary innovations
Myosin in just one example of similarities at the molecular level- an indicator that humans and yeasts share a common ancestry.

The six kingdom system of classification includes the kingdoms Eubacteria, archaebacteria, protista, fungi, plantae, and animalia.
The three domains are the domain Eukarya, which is composed of protists, fungi, plants, and animals; the domain bacteria, which corresponds to the kingdom Eubacteria; and the domain archaea, which corresponds to the kingdom archaebacteria.
Some biologist consider the differences between these two groups to be as great as those between animals and plants. As a result, the monera has been separated into two kingdoms.
Because it cannot be classified as animals, plants or fungi.
Because kingdom fungi feed on dead or decaying matter while kingdom plantae mostly just need water.

Biologists use a classification system to name organisms and group them in a logical manner.
Linnaeus’s hierarchical system of classification includes seven levels.
They are species, genus, family, order, class, phylum, and kingdom. Largest to smallest is kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species.
Its is difficult to standardize the names of organisms because different scientists described different characteristics.
Binomial nomenclature is when each species is assigned a two part scientific name.
