I was reading a very interesting article on civil right movement that has been very controversial. It is almost a ritual here in Pasadena that every year the rose parade is held with tons of different themed floats decorated with both roses and balloons. Yet this year’s parade has been very controversial for the fact that the parade will include a certain float. Parade organizers have are planning to host a Beijing inspired float based on the Olympic games that will be held there. Yet many protesters are indignant that such thing will happen. They state that it is unfair to host a float that will praise a nation so unjust to its citizens. China has been one of the countries that has had a major decline in their human rights, and to many protesters it is a shame that the parade is opening their arms freely to host a nation that has demoralized both in its human rights and freedoms. Yet Pasadena officials are stating that it is unfair target a mere parade in which to protest since it is not related to the country that protesters want to reprimand. They say that it is unnecessary to protest and turn their back on the people that will be on the float because they themselves are people that have been mistreated and they need support not rejection.

=Fire Save Mistake=
During the October wild fires this year many houses were burned. But days before the fires the local fire department warned them. They have told them to clear off their house one hundred feet in diameter. This included to cut off all bushes, dry grass, and anything that was fire hazardous at the time. Mark Coast a resident in San Bernardino had cleared off two hundred feet around his house. The problem is that he cleared one hundred feet into a protected area. This means that he might have to pay a big fine for this situation that saved his house. His neighbor that only cleared one hundred feet around his house which burned. The city wants to get him to pay but they don't give him the time he needs to clean up his mess.
He shouldn't be getting charged for any of this because he saved his house.

=The city should consider his struggle to save his FAMILYS house.

=The neighbor should of done the same thing which would of saved his house and eased some pressure off the other guys back.

=The fire department recommended 100ft but his insurance recommended 200ft.

Source;; San Diego Union Tribune.
Article;; Region Update.
Summary;; Today’s morning blog is based on the article I read about update’s in our region. The first part was about the recent deadly Tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo. The Oakland zoo plans to raise the height of the walls surrounding the tigers because of the attack. The Oakland Zoo Executive Director Joel Parrott says the walls surrounding its two tigers range from 13 ½ to 16 feet. But the zoo is currently trying to figure out how much higher they are going to raise the walls. The wall at the zoo is already about 4 feet under the recommended minimum for zoo in the United States. The second part was about an arrest made in rapes at a senior complex. It took place in Hemet where a San Jacinto man suspected of raping residents at a senior housing complex was arrested after an attempted break-in. The man’s name is Kenneth Daniels Jr. and he is 21 year old. He was taken into custody early Friday morning after police responded to a phone call of someone trying to break into their home. He had already attacked and raped a 63 year old woman and a 74 year old in a wheelchair who was also found dead due to severe trauma. Kenneth was booked on charges of murder, two counts of rape, burglary, forced oral copulation, and other counts.
Reflection;; The first part about the Tiger is scary but I think that the family of the victim’s should sue the zoo because the walls and chains were 4 feet below the recommendation for all zoos. The second part is what scares me and disgusts me. While reading this I was thinking of my grandma and how there are crazy sick perverts that DO NOT care. I hope that I never hear about another story like this because it’s really sad to even picture this happening not just to innocent seniors but to anyone in general.
Interesting Fact;; The first rape by the crazy, disgusting pervert, Kenneth Daniels Jr. was as early as in August.

Does your child need a mood makeover? It is common for kids to have issues such times where they may seem grumpy, sad, mad, or too shy.
